As part of the 111th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, a day-long event in Friday, June 12, 2009 will be held in Kuwait for OFWs in this country with some of the big names in Philippine politics and entertainment industry gracing the big event.

Former President Joseph Estrada will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker while his son, Senator Jinggoy Estrada will also be delivering an inspirational message for OFWs in Kuwait.

Former Senator Loi Ejercito will also be joining the prestigious event along with celebrities Lorna Tolentino and Rez Cortez serving as hosts which will surely entertain the OFWs in Kuwait.

Assembly time will be at 06:00 AM local time and the event will be at Al-Arabi Stadium (Second Ring Road corner Al-Arabi Street, Mansouriya). The event will formally start at 07:00 AM.

The OFWs in Kuwait will also have the chance to witness and participate in the exciting program which will include indoor games, parlor games and talent competitions to name a few. The movie Katas ng Saudi will also be shown as part of the program and OFWs will also have the chance to interact with the guest politicians and celebrities.
