The Bahrain government has taken a step forward with regards to respecting and supporting then rights of expatriates which includes OFWs. With the eased sponsorship rule, foreign workers can change jobs with no-objection certificates from their employers.

Upon arrival to their destination, the smuggled person is usually freed. In human trafficking, the trafficking victims are trapped, they are enslaved. The terms of their debt bondage are highly exploitative and the trafficker takes away the basic human rights of the victim.
The deadline for registration of OAV or overseas absentee voters will not be extended according to Comelec or Commission on Elections. If you are planning to register, I suggest that you register as early as today. Otherwise, you might have to deal with long queue of OFWs rushing towards the deadline.
To prevent any criminals or wanted persons from entering Kuwait, the Immigration Department at the Ministry of Interior has added an additional requirement for expatriates entering the country.
Although not yet publicly issued, OFWs particularly those travelling to Saudi Arabia should be advised regarding the new rule being imposed in KSA airports on carrying of electronic devices.
