Are you planning to go to Iran as a foreign household service worker? Is there an agency or somebody recruiting or helping you for employment as a maid in Iran?
Don’t be victimized by Iranian employers and unscrupulous recruitment agencies promising employment in Iran as foreign household service workers. The Department of Foreign Affairs recently said that Iran does not accept foreign household service workers from Philippines or any other country.
If you don’t want to join the stranded group of Filipina women facing charges of illegal employment in Iran, better be vigilant when similar jobs in Iran are being offered to you. Filipino victims enter Iran via Dubai using tourist visas and are told that their work permits will be processed upon their arrival in Iran.
Illegal foreign workers in Iran will be fined 3,000,000 Iranian rials or approximately $30 for each day of overstay in the country.
