The Saudi government has announced that Overseas Filipino Workers or OFWs applying as domestic helper, baby sitter, nurse, flight attendant and family driver in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should be at least 21 years old.

The memorandum from the Saudi Arabian Embassy in the Manila to Philippine recruitment agencies also laid down new minimum age requirements for the following categories:

• Dressmakers, 30

• Barber and physical therapist, 35

• Salesman for textiles and ladies wear apparel shops, 40

These age limits are for strict compliance and manpower agencies believed that the new age limits are reasonable and for the good of Filipino workers.
