		<description>Hi,

We have developed a new way to promote travel to the Philippines and keep our OFWs informed on the places of interest in their own towns.

We just launched a free iPhone application on travel in the Philippines. Its a great way to discover the tourist attractions in the country. In the App Store, search - MY TRAVEL PHILIPPINES. There is also a web version where people can post new records, add photos, create their travel maps, comment and vote attractions and accommodation facilities. The URL is - www.mytravelphilippines.com

Its a collaboration between two friends based in the Philippines and Australia. I take care of building up the database here, Rupert de Guzman develops the programming. We are not getting any government support nor from private companies. As of now, its more of a passion to develop this kind of service to help make the Philippines increase its competitive exposure through the web and mobile devices (there are now about 80 million global users of iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad).

Thank you and warm regards,
